SIMON LE GREE

FRANCE - 1800

On a Paris street, dingy, cold. Horse drawn wagons go by in the night. A scantily dressed woman with bad makeup is doing hard-core flirting with men who walk by her corner. Two men come toward her they are both drunk. It is her brother and her father. Instead of anger about Suzette's prostitution, they just ask for money. She gives a wad to her Dad Luc, he counts it and then smacks her face. Tells her to work harder, then laughs, Brother joins in. Dad makes a sick joke about how he had sex with this daughter and how lame she is in bed, Simon her brother agrees, they laugh more

That morning she tries to sneak into the apartment. She gets to her room, exhales, but is then attacked by Simon. He is 17, she is 16. She tries to fight him off but then succumbs. She looks out the window as he rapes her, when done, she pushes him off and rolls over into a ball.

Next day Luc and Simon's other brother Pierre, comes to them and tells them of an American he met earlier that day Beaudet. Pumped him for info and found that he is here to buy gems. Parents came from France but he can't speak it. He is rich, naive and still a virgin. They decide to run a scam on him.

Suzette meets him and pretends that she is wealthy. She shows him Paris and gets the American to trust her and fall in love with her. Gets him hot but won't give him any until married. Simon jealous but they marry and honeymoon in Monaco. On their first night back to Paris, Beaudet is killed while out alone. Simon did it but Suzette is uncertain, she had begun to like the American and is sad..

Big party is thrown that night and the Le Gree family is wearing new clothes and drunk as skunks. Suzette is openly molested by Luc that night in front of everyone. Humiliated and badly abused, she decides to go to America. The men demand most of the money, she gives it to them then happily flees from them.

The guys go into the prostitution business big time. The buy a hotel and the money starts to really come in. They are brutal drunks and one time Simon gets carried away beating on a whore, almost kills her.

Her brother shows up later, Simon does kill him. They dump the body but the cops know who did it. A cop goes over to make the squeeze on the Le Grees and get hush money. Simon kills him by accident. They must leave right away, but to where? America.

When they show up on Suzette's front door, she faints immediately. The men barge in and take over. All the Beaudet family was dead, Suzette is sole owner of the huge Louisiana estate ... and all of it's slaves. Le Grees like the idea of owning humans and begin the abuse right away. Proclaim all marriages void, plans to have sex with every slave woman on the plantation and maybe a couple boys too, get used to it.

Luc decides that the plantation be split in two. Suzette and Pierre will run the agriculture, He and Simon will run a slave breeding operation. Simon and Luc make slaves build them each a house from scratch and spent Suzette's money to do it. They also make the woman walk around without tops. Simon laughs and says "Now it's looks just like Africa, you should be happy". when displeasured by them, they twist the nipple.

Later, Luc, now an unbridled pedophile, always travels with four or five near naked kids, some on a leash. He tells family that he is "Breaking them in early". One small boy on Suzette's part of farm is a favorite kid. One day he runs crying to her, long shirt, no pants, blood on back/bottom of shirt and running down leg. Says raped by Luc, Simon and strangers. Suzette goes there, confronts the drunk men, is slapped down and laughed at. Threatened with rape herself. Simon smiles at her. Later that night, he sneaks in her room and rapes her for real,"like old times".

Simon is now a devoted student of Marquis De Sade, his fellow countryman. He has a special house built that has many torture devices in it. Whips of various length and thickness line the wall as do shackles, neck restraints, body harnesses, branding irons, muzzles, caged cats, suspension cables, huge tubs, torches, human skulls, snake pit and various size nooses. Runaways are the favorite victim. Screams fill the sky each night.

A girl has her first period and it is reported to Simon. He gets four Blackmen in top shape and has them wrestle. The winner gets to have her first. The others have her in the position that they placed. The older women of the plantation care after the child.

One day Simon and Luc on porch sipping bourbon. Simon notices light skinned kids running around all about the same age (10) and declining. "How long we been here Pop?".... "Ten Years" Points out all the offspring from those ten years, they laugh. Suzette sees and turns in disgust. Next day Suzette hears screams, Simon and his dad are selling all the kids they fathered. It is an auction on the plantation and pimps, madams and crazy folks are buying the kids up. Mothers are crying pleading, Simon slaps one and says "it's my property, my profit".

Suzette runs in to stop him, she also gets slapped, calls her a nigger lover and says she will get punished dearly for the public humiliation. Drunk, in the middle of the night, he drags her from her room and takes her to the torture house. She is shackled to a rack near nude, then screaming begins. Next morning Simon exits the door, smiling, shirt undone, hair in disarray. He pulls the rope that he has in his hand, his sister is on the other end, on all fours, badly beaten and topless. Screams for everyone "not to look", but also says that "this is what happens to those that disobey, I don't care who you are." He makes her crawl back to the house, half naked, on a leash.

After this becomes withdrawn and stays to herself in her own house. Pierre gets married to a local girl. Simon gets more into his Marquis De Sade experiments and the various torture/humiliation devices available. He begins to specialize in 'breaking' Africans and turning them into slaves. People from all over send their slaves there for discipline. Simon orders that all breast feeding women to fill up a full cup glass full of mother's milk. Simon drinks it daily, neighbor told him it will keep him young and athletic. Later, Tommy John switches human milk for cow milk and the Simon can't tell the difference.

Does theatrical demonstrations of torture and humiliation for the locals during his huge parties. For a fee visitors can have a hands-on experience. In a private cabin, sex tortures upon the Black women takes place. Gang rapes, beatings, whippings, bondage and pedophiles are seen.

Suzette meets a rich white man named Pyette at the party and they start dating. Pyette has breeding farm in next county and is competition with. Pyette is younger and less brutal than Simon, Simon thinks he is weak, nigger-lover and wants him out of business.

Simon's buffed out stud slave, Tomcat, runs errands between the houses on the plantation and is always picked on by the smaller, more puny, less handsome Simon. Pyette goes back to France for a year but will be back to marry Suzette. Shortly after he leaves, she is found pregnant. When baby is born, it is half-Black ... Tomcat. Baby killed instantly by the bottom of Simon's boot. Only other white person there is his brother Pierre. They say it was born dead. Threaten the other slaves to say nothing.

Simon's butler, Tommy John tells Tomcat anyway and Tomcat prepares to run, Simon much more wicked to him now. Simon sees that Pyette has come back early. He wants him dead and sister dead and Tomcat to take the fall. Sets up the assassination with some slimy slave catchers. Told to kill the white couple and the Black driver and make it look like the driver did it.

Tomcat is preparing the horses and planning to run once he thinks it's ok. Suzette and Pyette where going to go on a date but at the last minute give the stage coach to Pierre and his pregnant wife so that they can go to town and see the doctor. Pyette says he met someone in Paris and is breaking up with Suzette.

On the way to town, the slave catchers are drinking heavily and telling disgusting stories about their job. They see the coach approaching and attack. They kill the inhabitants but the driver gets away. Next day Simon almost shits on himself when he sees Suzette and realizes the switch was made. Big reward for Tomcat, they blame him, father doesn't believe it. Suzette goes nuts.

Tommy John tells Luc the truth. Luc and Tommy John confront Simon with this in the barn, Simon shoots Tommy John immediately and calls him a liar. Luc says cruel words to Simon and then slaps him hard. As father is leaving, Simon shoots him in the back. As Luc dies, says he was coward for shooting in the back, he should have died instead of Pierre. Simon puts the gun in his father's mouth, says something sick and pulls the trigger.

Simon calls the whole plantation together the next day. Blames all the murders on Tomcat and Tommy John. The unsold family members of both men are separated out from the others. Tommy John's wife is grabbed, tied up, stripped and then whipped in front of her kids, even punched a few times. The woman of Tomcat resists. She pulls out a large knife and kills 2 guards right away, then fools one and kills him during the distraction. She is headed towards killing Simon when she is shot from behind by on of the dying guards. Simon orders everyone to watch as the children are all gunned down, bad blood, remember it as a warning. "Simon is God, Simon is mother and father too," he tells them, "the power of life and death is in me, disobey me and die".

Suzette comes running out of the crowd and starts beating him with her small fists. He first tries to push her away, then he slaps her down. Suzette is crying hysterically. Simon declares her insane in front of everyone and says she is off limits to visitors of even conversation ... and the walks away. The weeping slaves gather the small bodies and carry them away. Suzette is left alone as she sobs bitterly into the dust.

Later that night a drunk Simon, singing to himself, with bottle in hand, goes to Suzette's house. He pushes slaves aside talking about he will teach her a lesson. Bangs on the bedroom door, no answer, "You in there with another Nigga?". Breaks the lock with his shoulder, barges in, no one. He looks around and then sees her from a distance in the tub. He takes his clothes off and goes in the bathroom. He is talking drunk nonsense and doesn't notice until one foot is already in, that the bath water is all red.

"Nooo" he shouts when he looks down and sees that she is dead. He lifts her wrists from the water and sees they have been cut. He cries a little, "My sweet", and pours wine over her lips as he kisses her. The kiss gets intense, as he lets go, her head flops. "One more dance my sweet". He takes a big swig, then picks up his nude,dead, wet sister and takes her over to the bed and stretches her out. He bites hard on her breasts and begins to have sex with her.

Next day he wakes up with the sun in his eyes. He turns his head to miss the sunlight and his head rolls right into something wet. He has a hang over and headache. He looks to see the bed covered in blood. Hanging half off the other side is the naked body of his very dead sister. Simon runs into the bathroom and barfs.

Later, Simon is in the barn. Laid out before him is his entire family ... dead. He turns to go and tells a slave to take care of the bodies, he is getting new slaves and coffins for his family in the city today and will be back before dark.

He goes by the undertaker and his slaves load up the wagon with coffins. He then goes to a riverside slave auction. He buys several women and young men. As he is about to leave, an old Black slave in fancy clothes goes up on the block. Auctioneer says his name is Uncle Tom and the bidding starts low for the old man. Simon mumbles something about being too nice to the other 'Toms', not this time. He outbids everyone for the old man. As soon as he gets him he strips him of his fancy clothes and gives him some old ratty slaves clothes to wear. Gets in Uncle Tom's face and lets him know that from here, until death, Simon would make his life a living hell. He promises to break him and will enjoy doing it.

Pyette is walking with his new wife when he sees Simon from a distance. He bullies his slaves, slaps a big guy right out in public, then finally pulls off in the wagon. Pyette points to him and says that that man is the reason that he got out of the slavery business. The sickest mind in Louisiana. It made him ashamed to be a white man after meeting Simon. Must do what he can to help heal the wounds that people like Simon cause and not allow his antics to be what Europeans are remembered for. Pyette looks in his direction, then spits bitterly. He and his new wife walk away as Simon, Uncle Tom, and the others ride off into a Bayou sunset.
