Logline : KKK abducts an innocent victim, exposes him to their secret, twisted ceremony and hunts for him when he escapes.

Synopsis : This content-driven story is about a Black custodian from Phoenix who gets kidnapped and drugged by the ku klux klan on New Year's Eve. He is told he will be sacrificed later and is forced to watch the warped ceremony in a chemical straight-jacket. Eventually, with the help of the compassionate son of the Grand Dragon, he escapes and gets to tell his story, sort of.

In the context of that storyline, I tell the history of the Blackman's (and others) abuse in this country from slave plantations to crack infestations. I show that many times the klan and the government worked together (ie Jim Crow laws, cops who have ties to klansmen, George Wallace, etc.) to hold Black people and others back.

I also depict Tim Mc Viegh being initiated into this group of maniacs, and I hint at their new, highly dangerous, 'militia' approach to American style ethnic-cleansing. It will be a high-controversy project done on a microscopic budget.

Similar to 'American History X', the curiosity factor will garner a high return on the dollar, along with critical acclaim. Minimal locations and special effects are used. Much of the action takes place in a college lecture hall. This piece is not action adventure, it's drama, and it will be the information presented and characters depicted, that will really be blowing people away. This carefully researched segment of Black history has never been presented to the American public like this before.

It's right on time too. These sheet-wearing terrorists are always trying to get a permit to march on Martin Luther King Day, I expect the same this year.

These groups are becoming more vocal and more lethal. They've gone high tech and regularly swell their ranks with disillusioned youth via the internet. This screenplay gives hope that a new day is coming, but it is also a wake up call !!!
